Highlights: The Hooks rallied by scoring three runs in the ninth inning, but fell short to have their two-game winning streak snapped against the RoughRiders. Corpus Christi trailed Frisco 9-1 before Chad Stevens and Luis Aviles Jr. each hit home runs to bring the Hooks within five. Hector Nieves drew a walk and Garrett Wolforth singled, but Theo McDowell got Kenedy Corona to ground into a double play to end the game.

Kenedy Corona and Luis Avilas Jr. also hit home runs with Avilas Jr. driving in a game-best four RBI to lead the Hooks.

Highlights: RoughRiders pitcher Owen White pitched seven scoreless innings and Frisco scored six runs in the final two innings to claim its second consecutive win against the Hooks at Whataburger Field. Thomas Saggese finished with two hits, including a home run and drove in two runs to back White, who struck out six and allowed one hit. Chad Stevens led Corpus Christi with two hits, including a double. Zach Daniels also doubled for the Hooks, who are now 25-28.

Highlights: The RoughRiders overcame an early deficit by scoring two runs in the seventh and added three in the eighth to capture a series-opening win against the Hooks at Whataburger Field. Hooks starting pitcher Adrian Chaidez allowed one run on one hit and struck out three in five innings, but Frisco did most of its damage against Corpus Christi's bullpen to secure the win. The Hooks' two runs came on a bases loaded walk by Colin Barber and RBI fielder's choice by Kenedy Corona. Frisco starter Jack Leiter, the second overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft, allowed two hits, two runs and struck out seven in four innings.
