Woman fights off man who tried to attack her
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said it is looking for a man who allegedly followed a woman and pushed his way into her apartment late Sunday night before attempting to sexually assault her. The alleged attack happened at an apartment complex near Lokanotosa Trail and Alafaya Club Drive. Deputies said the woman fought the alleged attacker off and that an "alert roommate helped chase him away."

Man Pleads Not Guilty to Swiping Cash from Eastvale Store
A 27-year-old man accused of stealing cash from an Eastvale grocery store then fleeing with an accomplice pleaded not guilty Tuesday to grand theft. Charles Ray Sanford Jr. of Eastvale was arrested last week, along with 26-year-old Elijah Alonzo Tucker of San Bernardino, following a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department investigation.

Carjacking Arrest in Moreno Valley
“On November 22, 2023, at 9:00 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a carjacking in the 24000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard, Moreno Valley. The victim had exited the business and was in the parking lot when an adult male suspect pointed what appeared to be a handgun at him and ordered him to walk to the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied with the order and entered the driver seat of his vehicle with the suspect in the passenger seat. The suspect continued to point the handgun at the victim and ordered him to drive onto the 60 Freeway. The victim initially complied; however, he later physically fought back and escaped from the vehicle. The suspect drove away in possession of the victim’s vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries while escaping his captor.
