New Byrne Dairy opens in Corning

CORNING, N.Y. ( WETM ) — A new Byrne Dairy is now open for business in Downtown Corning.

Corning’s new Byrne Dairy held its grand opening on Wednesday, June 12. The new store and gas station is located at 80 East Denison Parkway and will be open 24 hours every day.

This Byrne Dairy took over the lot that was previously occupied by Walgreens . Walgreens closed its Denison Parkway location in 2020 and remained vacant until construction began on the new Byrne Dairy location. The City of Corning’s Planning Commission approved Byrne Dairy’s site plan in October 2023.

Byrne Dairy now has 75 locations across Upstate New York. The closest location to the new store is on Park Avenue in the Village of South Corning, just under two miles from the Denison Parkway location.
