Lake Norman luxury home with NASCAR neighbors hits market at $7M

CORNELIUS, N.C. — A luxury home on Lake Norman that has counted NASCAR stars among its neighbors hit the market last week with a price tag of $7 million.

The home on Bethelwood Lane in Cornelius was built in 2015 by Patrick Joseph Distinctive Homes. At 5,781 square feet, it sits on just over an acre near the end of a peninsula, with a private pier, a pool and hot tub with a cabana, an outdoor bar and a fire pit.

The house has five bedrooms and five full plus two partial bathrooms. Expansive windows bring in abundant natural light and offer panoramic views of the lake.

A spokesperson for Premier Sotheby’s International Realty says former race-car drivers Jeff Gordon and Rusty Wallace have lived on the same street.
