CORDELE, Ga. – The Cordele Kiwanis Club hosted the Billy Williams Memorial Fishing Rodeo as part of the 74th Annual Watermelon Festival on Saturday.

Prizes for the biggest catch were handed out and door prizes were given to all of the participants. David Simmons, with the help of two of the Junior Miss and Tiny Miss Watermelon Queens, handed out the prizes.

William Moore was the winner of the 2023 Billy Williams Memorial Fishing Rodeo.

Special thanks to Mike Buford for the use of his pond. The Kiwanis Club will host the annual talent show case Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Crisp County High School cafetorium on Frontage Road.
