
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One man is in custody after a domestic argument apparently led to gunfire that left one person dead in Corbett.
Shortly before 5 p.m. a person called 911 to report a man and woman fighting at Crown Point RV Park in Corbett, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office told KOIN 6 News. The caller saw them go inside an RV and then heard gunshots.
Multiple people shot, wounded in NE Portland Deputies rushed to the RV park behind the Corbett Fire Station and saw the man walk from behind there. Officials said the man, who has not been publicly identified, surrendered without incident. He is currently in custody but no charges have yet been filed.
Authorities said a few well-taken care of pets, including a bird, dog and a cat, were taken to the animal shelter.
The victim has not been identified.
