A 9th-grade student at Charles Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida, was arrested on Wednesday after making a social media threat involving the school. Pembroke Pines Police immediately identified and detained the student. There was no active safety concern to the students, staff, or campus, according to a tweet from the department. The Pembroke Pines Police Department has not released the identity of the student, nor the specific nature of the threat. The student is currently in police custody and may face criminal charges.
