A man who eluded authorities for over two months is due in court on Monday (6/12/2023).  Putnam County Deputies first tried to serve Zachery Kurpieski with active arrests warrants on March 30th but he managed to flee in a vehicle.  On June 3rd, White County Deputies attempted a traffic stop close to the White County/Putnam County line. Kurpieski was identified but he managed to escape on foot.  Later in the evening the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office received a call the suspect had been seen outside of a residence in the same area that he had fled from police earlier in the day. Putnam County Deputies responded and were able to take Kurpieski into custody.  He is charged with Violation of Probation, Aggravated Kidnapping, Evading Arrest, Simple Possession, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  His bond was set at $59,000 with a June 12th court date.
