Suspect arrested in shooting death
WILLIS — After a day on the run, the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office has the suspect wanted in connection with the murder of a Coldspring teenager in custody. Sheriff Greg Capers said Joshua Escobar, 19, turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office on Saturday evening, and was charged with murder. He currently is being held on a $1 million bond.
Willis woman killed in SJC accident
A 65-year-old Willis woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident about 11:53 p.m. at the intersection of FM 1725 and CR 3081 (Dabney Bottom Road) in San Jacinto County. According to Cpl. Thomas Thurston with the Texas Department of Public Safety in San Jacinto County, the deceased woman is Candace Ellison. She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by James Wright, 33, also of Willis.

MCTX Sheriff Seeks Identity of Apartment Burglary Suspects in Kingwood
KINGWOOD, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify the individuals pictured below who burglarized an apartment at the Avaya complex on Loop 494 in Kingwood, Texas. On March 12, 2023, at about 12:30 pm, the homeowner was away when she received a notification that her front door had been opened. While remotely viewing the cameras, the homeowner observed two black males inside, who stole several items and left in a black Chrysler 300. When deputies arrived on scene, they determined the front door had been pried open.
Deputies searching for missing Tomball woman
HOUSTON (KIAH) — Officials are asking for the public’s help locating a missing woman from Tomball. Margaret Kay Alana Turner, 27, was last seen fleeing from Harris County Sheriff’s deputies in her car on the 18000 block of Country Hills Drive in Tomball on Friday, March 10.
Man dies in Montgomery County crash

Around 2:45 p.m. Monday, the man was driving a Honda Accord northbound on Lake Mt. Pleasant Road, just north of FM 1097, according to a report by the Montgomery County Police Reporter.

Firefighters rescue victim of early morning crash in New Waverly
NEW WAVERLY, Texas (KBTX) - A firefighter headed home from his shift helped rescue a teenager injured in a car crash. Lt. Andy Bolton was traveling down FM 2296 in New Waverly Sunday morning around 7:30 a.m. when he spotted the wreckage of a vehicle on the edge of the woods.

And on top of that, this woman was pretending to be a Door Dash Driver while several others working with her tried to use the distraction she was attempting to create as an opportunity to try and break in the back door of this home. WILLIS, TX — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate a stolen Open Range travel trailer. The camper was stolen between January 18th and February 7th from a storage facility in Willis. The camper is white with gray lettering and patterns on the sides, in addition to a horse decal near the door. The trailer is registered under Texas License Plate #B383206.
