Remains found in Montgomery County are of missing woman, authorities say
CONROE, Texas (KIAH) — Skeletal remains that were found last week have been identified as a missing woman in Harris County, according to authorities. Montgomery County officials said that remains discovered on Friday in a wooded area near Decker Prairie Rosehill Road have been identified as Kay-Alana Turner, who has been missing since March of 2023.

BEAUMONT, Texas — After over a year of searching, friends and family of Kay-Alana Turner can finally have some form of closer, tragic as it may be. It was last Friday that Texas EquuSearch found remains in a wooded area in Montgomery County not far from where Kay-Alana went missing, and today the Montgomery County Forensic Center confirmed through dental records that it was Turner.
