A Conetoe man was jailed under a $1 million secured bond on illegal-drug-related charges after a search warrant was executed at his house and a search of his vehicle resulted in the confiscation of about 1,435 pressed fentanyl pills in the glove box, the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office said via Facebook.

James Jordan III was arrested Tuesday after months of investigations into the ongoing sale and delivery of crack cocaine in the Conetoe and Princeville areas and after controlled purchases of illegal drugs were made from him, the sheriff’s office said on Wednesday.
