Columbia Art League to host “Art in the Park” at Stephens Lake Park

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Art League will host its 65th annual "Art in the Park" this weekend at Stephens Lake Park and the event will be free and open to the public.

Art in Park will run Saturday June 3. from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday June 4. from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event set to feature over 100 artists.

Organizers say there will be multiple activities for kids, food and the event will highlight seveal pieces of art that people from handmade goods to art installations and more.

Organizers ask all visitors to use the parking lot on Jack Estes Way between East Walnut Street but if you need disability parking, spots will be available at the Old 63 lot at Stephens Lake Park. There will also be a road closure at Old 63 north and Jack Estes way.

For those that would like a ride to "Art in the Park" organizers say there will be a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes to take visitors  from the parking area to the event.
