NEWS. WELL, THAT BREAKING NEWS TONIGHT IS IN HOWARD COUNTY, WHERE TWO PEOPLE HAVE BEEN FOUND DEAD AFTER AN APPARENT MURDER SUICIDE. POLICE RESPONDED TO FIVE FINGERS WAY IN COLUMBIA AROUND ONE THIS AFTERNOON AND FOUND THE TWO BODIES. INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE THAT 25 YEAR OLD MICHAEL BASLER SHOT AND KILLED HIS BROTHER. 15 YEAR OLD STEVEN BASLER, AND THEN TURNED THE GUN

Police said a 15-year-old is dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Columbia on Tuesday.Howard County police said officers responded to the 5200 block of Five Fingers Way in Columbia at around 1 p.m. for a report of two victims with gunshot wounds.Preliminary investigation led police to believe Michael Bassler, 25, shot and killed his brother Stephen Bassler, 15, and then shot himself. Both lived at the house where the incident occurred.Police said there are no indications that anyone else was involved, and the motive is still unknown.The investigation is ongoing.
