President Joe Biden fell onstage after handing out the last diploma at the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation ceremony in Colorado.

Biden, 80, received aid from Air Force officials and Secret Service and stood back up quickly. When the president was back up and standing, he pointed to a black sandbag where he had stumbled and fell, then walked off of the stage on his own power.

The president delivered remarks to the cadets and handed the 920 graduates their diplomas.

White House Communications Director Ben LaBolt tweeted that Biden is “fine” and said a sandbag on the stage was the cause of the fall.

“He’s fine. There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands,” LaBolt tweeted.
