Collier County man bitten by 11-foot alligator while walking dogs, FWC, sheriff's office say
Rick Fingeret was walking his two dogs Friday evening when a nearly 11-foot alligator bit his thigh "out of nowhere." According to a Collier County Sheriff's Office report, Fingeret, 67, was walking on Quarry Drive, near Immokalee Road, in Naples, when the gator attacked him and attempted to drag him to a pond.
