The Midnight Yell, the 12th Man, and over 100,000 packed shoulder-to-shoulder will be back at Kyle Field soon.

Texas A&M football released a hype video on Twitter Thursday in accordance with the 100-day countdown to kickoff for the Aggies' home opener on Sept. 2 against New Mexico.

"Welcome to Aggieland," play-by-play announcer Chris Fowler said in an audio clip from an ESPN broadcast. "Kyle Field, S.R.O. (standing room only). More than 106,000 strong. And it is always a great scene. One of the great spots for college football."

Scenes of towels waving, the student section "swag surfin,'" a flyover at Kyle Field and Aggies mascot, Reveille, were among the clips used in the 38-second trailer.

"This is the best student section right here in college football," ESPN color commentator Kirk Herbstreit said.

Despite a disappointing 5-7 season in 2022, Texas A&M was still eighth in the country with an average of 97,213 fans for each of the eight home games last season.

Aggies home games last season featured the highs of highs and the lows of lows, as two of their four victories at Kyle Field were against ranked opponents in Miami and LSU. However, one of Texas A&M's worst losses of the season came when it fell to Appalachian State 17-14 in Aggieland — a game in which it was favored by 18 points.

Texas A&M has seven home games against the Lobos Sept. 2, Louisiana-Monroe Sept. 16, Auburn Sept. 23, Alabama Oct. 7, South Carolina Oct. 28, Mississippi State Nov. 11 and Abilene Christian Nov. 18.

The Maroon Out will be against the Bulldogs.
