Maryland is 1 of 4 teams still involved with 2024 point guard Daquan Davis.

The 4-star guard announced his finalists on Wednesday morning. He’s still considering Maryland, Notre Dame, Mississippi State and Providence.

He also set a commitment date of June 25:

Davis has become a top target for the Terps in the class of 2024. He’s the No. 125 overall player and the No. 16 point guard in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 4 player from Washington D.C.

He attends St. John’s High School in Washington D.C. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds.

Maryland is the favorite to land Davis’ commitment, according to 247Sports Crystal Ball projections. He also has offers from programs such as Illinois, Butler, Penn State and Texas A&M, amongst others.

If Maryland does land Davis’ pledge, he would become the program’s first commitment for the 2024 recruiting cycle.
