The Cole County man charged with the involuntary manslaughter of his girlfriend was in court on Tuesday.

Joshua Wilbers is also charged with Armed Criminal Action for the death of Hallie Phillips on November 26, 2022.
Wilbers had a Plea/Trial Setting scheduled for Tuesday, May 30.
That hearing has been rescheduled for July 11.

Wilbers said he accidentally shot Phillips when he was disassembling a 22-caliber rifle.
