Kaitlyn Davis only allowed one hit and no runs while striking out six as the Coffee County Lady Raiders defeated Warren County 10-0 to win the Region 3AAAA Championship.
Coffee County opened the scoring in the first inning. The Lady Raiders put on a double steal, and Savannah scored as she stole home.
Coffee County put up five runs in the third inning. The offense got singles from Davis, Chesnie Cox, and Willow Carden and a fielder’s choice by Channah Gannon.
In the fifth, the Lady Raiders scored four more times to end the game thanks to the run rule. Madison Pruitt doubled in a run, and Savannah Cooper singled in two runs.
A single by Addison Smith in the fifth inning was the only hit for the Lady Pioneers.
Cox went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Coffee County in hits. Cooper had 2 RBI.
The Lady Raiders will host Smyrna on Friday at 6:30 PM. Smyrna lost to Riverdale on Wednesday night 2-1. Hear the game on The Rooster 101.5.
