Juvenile arrested for grand theft in Coeur d'Alene, linked to auto burglaries

COEUR D'ALENE, ID. — Another juvenile was arrested on Friday and charged with grand theft.

According to CDAPD, detectives learned three juvenile males, working together, were responsible for auto burglaries reported on Sunday and Monday.

The juvenile was booked into the Kootenai County Juvenile Detention Center.

Two juveniles were arrested for auto burglary on Tuesday, according to Coeur d'Alene Police Department.

On April 21 and 22, CDAPD received multiple reports of auto burglaries in Northwest Coeur d'Alene.

According to police, personal property, cash and a handgun were stolen from several unlocked cars.

Police also believe the juveniles entered and significantly damaged a home under construction.

Three juvenile males were identified as the suspects by police after an initial investigation.

Both juveniles arrested on Tuesday were charged with one count of auto burglary.

This is an ongoing investigation.
