Park City police stop speeders, vehicle with blue lights on front
The Park City Police Department in May is continuing to pull over numerous drivers even as traffic has generally subsided during the spring shoulder season. Police officers throughout the year conduct traffic patrols, stopping drivers for a wide range of suspected offenses. The most recent stops, including cases of suspected speeding and other sorts of moving violations, did not appear to be unusual for the Police Department. Public police logs in some of the cases did not provide details about any enforcement action, but officers are believed to issue warnings in many instances unless the driver is a repeat offender or the circumstances of a violation are deemed to be egregious.
Kamas, Coalville DMVs to temporarily close due to lack of staff
Summit County says anyone who needs DMV services next week can go to the Park City location in the Sheldon Richins Building in Kimball Junction. All Utah DMV locations will be closed for Memorial Day, Monday, May 27.
