LOOKING FOR ANSWERS

Though details remain limited, officials believe that the women were killed by the same person who kidnapped Eleia.

"It is with a heavy heart that I stand before you today to address the tragic incident that unfolded," Clovis Deputy Chief Trevor Thorn said during the press conference.

Surveillance footage showed the victims stopping for food before going to a Dollar Tree in Clovis, according to News Nation.

There have been a lot of tragic events, and a lot of people are damaged and are victims in this. And we’re here to help them.

Two men later entered the park and reportedly saw the two victims and the 5-year-old lying next to a silver minivan.

A man walking told police he had heard gunshots in the park, but didn't immediately report them.

Police also think the suspect drove a maroon-colored Honda, according to KPLC.

Both of the children's fathers are cooperating with police as the investigation unfolds.

Albuquerque FBI Special Agent in Charge Raul Bujanda said the top priority is finding the baby and suspect or suspects responsible for her disappearance, her sister's injury, and the horrific deaths.

"We need your help to make sure we find this individual or individuals who are responsible for these horrific crimes," the FBI agent said.

"No detail, no tip, nothing is too small. Don’t consider something, don’t make that assumption that something is insignificant.

"Because our case team will follow up on every single lead until we bring back alive."
