Waggin' tails, smiles seen at 2nd annual Donut Dog Walk in Clovis

CLOVIS, Calif (FOX26) — What better way to kickstart a weekend than dogs, donuts, and a walk on a sunny Saturday morning?

Over at Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center in Clovis, they carried out its 2nd annual Donut Dog Walk Fundraiser Event at David McDonald Park.

The event was a total success, it even sold out according to the animal center. More than 300 participants signed up this year, all to benefit homeless animals in the community.

People with pets or without them got to explore a donut-themed 2K walking course. The trail included several fun stops and photo-ops to help remember the day.

Participants received a medal, a t-shirt, and let’s not forget a fresh donut.
