Manhunt ends: Suspect in killing of local boy captured

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A man who was on the run from law enforcement for eight months, after police said he killed a 14-year-old boy in Cleveland, has been captured, according to U.S. Marshals.

Ian Price, 21, was apprehended more than 700 miles from Cleveland when authorities said he was found at a residence near Atlanta Monday.

Price was wanted by Cleveland police for aggravated murder.

Police said Price was named the suspect after the teenager was found deceasd from multiple gunshot wounds Aug. 15, 2023, on Massie Avenue in Cleveland.

“The senseless violence and killing of juveniles needs to stop. Our USMS task force will do everything in our authority to bring these violent fugitives to justice,” U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said Monday.
