CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Today is day 16 with no rain in the Cleveland area.

The dry streak will continue through at least the first half of the weekend.

The 19 First Alert Weather Team is forecasting dry conditions through Saturday.

Temperatures will continue to trend cooler-than-normal this week.

Expect highs, generally, in the low 70s through Friday.

Tuesday will be our warmest day of the work week with highs in the mid 70s.

You’ve probably also noticed the rather persistent haze we’ve had overhead.

This is actually wildfire smoke, drifting in from Canada.

A cold front will move through very early Tuesday morning, and this should help to push some of that smoke to our south.

While Tuesday will begin on a hazy note, skies should clear out during the second half of the day.

Skies will remain mostly clear until Wednesday afternoon, when the haze will return.
