CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Our pleasant stretch of weather continues through the Memorial Day weekend forecast.

High-level clouds have arrived and will stick with us through Sunday.

These clouds are moving in from the south where showers are impacting the Carolinas this weekend.

High pressure in place will keep us dry, but there may be a small window for areas south of US-30 to pick up on a spot shower late Sunday night into Monday.

It will be quite the fight for rain to make it to the surface given how strong our area of high pressure is, but it is something we will monitor.

At best, it produces a few overnight sprinkles to the south headed into Memorial Day.

The majority of us, if not everyone across Northeast Ohio, looks to stay dry through the holiday weekend.

Daytime highs will be back into the 70s for areas closer to the lakeshore Sunday and Monday, with more 80s on the board for areas farther south.

We will wrap up May with highs climbing into the 80s next week.
