Man’s body discovered in Cleveland’s Brooklyn Centre neighborhood, police say

CLEVELAND, Ohio - A man was found dead Friday in the city’s Brooklyn Centre neighborhood near the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, according to police.

The man’s body was found near West 25th and Pearl Road, a Cleveland police spokeswoman said. Police did not specify how the man died, but homicide detectives launched an investigation into his death.

The man’s identity was not released by police or the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.

A spokeswoman for the Metroparks Police Department said Cleveland police will handle the investigation.
