Several in custody after Shaker Heights chase ends in Cleveland
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Three suspects were arrested Thursday morning after a car chase involving Shaker Heights police.
The suspects were apparently in a stolen Hyundai Sonata.
According to police, a BOLO “be on (the) look-out” for was issued for the vehicle and Shaker Heights police officers spotted it in their city and tried to get the driver to pull over.
The driver refused to pull over and drove into Cleveland, where they bailed from the vehicle in the area of E. 123rd Street and Crennell Avenue around 9 a.m.
This is in Cleveland’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood.
Cleveland police officers and Shaker Heights police officers quickly captured the driver and both passengers.
Police said the incident remains under investigation and charges are pending.
