LB Anthony Walker Jr. Visit Went Well With Commanders, Won't Sign at This Time

Free agent linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. completed his visit with the Washington Commanders on Tuesday but won't be signing right now, per a report. It looks like the Cleveland Browns will have a chance to keep Walker potentially.

Cleveland has a glaring need at middle linebacker and bringing back Walker makes a ton of sense. He spent the last two season with Cleveland but is coming off of a season where he played just the first three games due to injury. Prior to that, Walker was off to a great start in 2022.

Walker is likely to sign a one-year deal wherever he goes. The 27-year-old linebacker will look to prove himself off injury.

It's notable that he wore the green for the Browns defense while on the field. He's a known leader in the locker room and on the field.

Now, the Browns will have to move on Walker after the Commanders visit if they want any chance at keeping him. With Walker making visits, it's likely not long until he signs somewhere.
