Through an estimated $1 million renovation process, an abandoned warehouse is steadily transforming into a neighborhood hub for exercise and socialization. When Parma resident Robert Euerle acquired an empty factory/warehouse 18 months ago on Crossburn Avenue in Cleveland, he had no intention of converting the building into a pickleball center. The bland exterior and messy interior didn’t exactly inspire it.
Former Ohio State commit puts Notre Dame in his top group
As soon as Jayvan Boggs decommitted from Ohio State, the connection to Notre Dame football began. It was confirmed on Wednesday evening, as Boggs released his top 7 schools with the Irish making the cut along with Florida, Georgia, Missouri, UCF, USC and Texas. The 6-foot and 188-pound Florida native is viewed as one of the top players in the country, ranking as the No. 193 overall prospect and 23rd receiver according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The introduction of girls wrestling as an OHSAA sanctioned sport has gone hand in hand with one name: Jayden McKinney. In 2022, when the girls wrestling state tournament was still being run by the Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches Association (OHSWCA), McKinney won her first state title. The Akron Manchester product has been nothing short of dominant since, going 8-0 at the OHSAA state tournament with seven pins, six in the first period, and a 16-0 technical fall. Four of those first-period pins came in this year’s tournament.

BOSTON — Tanner Houck pitched a three-hit shutout to help the Boston Red Sox end a two-game losing streak by beating the Cleveland Guardians 2-0 Wednesday. Houck (3-1) struck out nine and didn't walk a batter. He threw 94 pitches, 69 for strikes. It was the first complete game of Houck's career, and the first complete game by a Red Sox pitcher since Nathan Eovaldi in May 2022.
