Memorial Built At Cleveland County Jail Honors Former Inmates, Staff In Military

Oklahomans took part in veteran celebrations, including inmates at the Lexington correctional center in Cleveland County.

They built a memorial to honor former inmates and DOC staff that served in the military.

The project started a few years ago with just a flagpole.

Thanks to some donated materials, inmates are building a memorial wall and plaque with the names of people who served.
