KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A Cleveland County man is celebrating a $1,000,000 Powerball win.
Toney Peavey of Kings Mountain took a shot at a $2,000,000 Powerball ticket and won half of that in Saturday’s drawing.
He claimed his prize at lottery headquarters Friday and took home $712,501 after taxes.
