Marie K. Patton, age 81, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN.
Marie was born on May 11, 1942, in Cherry Valley, Arkansas to the late Roy C. King and Mamie Wesner. Marie is also preceded in death by brothers, Roy C. King Jr., Roger King, Harold King, and Burley King; sister, Margaret King.
Marie is survived by her loving husband, CW4 (Ret.) James P. Patton; son, Greg (Lisa) Patton; daughter, Stacey Patton; brothers, Charles King, Howard King and Gayle King; sister, Mary Clayton; grandchildren, Matthew Denney, Ashley Patton, and Jacob Patton.
Marie is a retired Teacher from DoDEA Jackson Elementary, Ft. Campbell, KY.
A Visitation will be held in Marie’s honor on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12 :00 p.m. at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. A private family inurnment will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (West), in Hopkinsville.
