Update, 6:15 a.m. Saturday: The motorcyclist was transported to Tennova Healthcare instead of flown to Nashville and has died from his injuries, Beaubien said.

Next of kin notifications are being made.

This is the second fatal motorcycle wreck in Clarksville this week. On Monday, a 101st Airborne Division soldier was killed when his motorcycle hit an SUV on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A motorcycle and another vehicle crashed on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard Friday night.

At about 9:30 p.m., the vehicles crashed in front of Outback Steakhouse, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.

The southbound lanes were shut down at Terminal Road.

The motorcyclist was being flown to Nashville by Lifeflight helicopter. Fatal Accident Crash Team investigators were en route to the scene and motorists were asked to find an alternate route until the roadway can be completely cleared.

No further information has been released.
