The Summer Night Lights series returns with events that offer purposeful, positive experiences for the youths, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation recently announced.

Events are held every Tuesday from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. and feature a range of activities including sports tournaments, educational activities and skill-building experiences.

Mayor's Summer Night Lights events aim to provide a positive experience for youth during the summer

In addition, community resources, health and job information booths and motivational speakers will be available.

Attendees will also enjoy a free meal each night, ensuring no one leaves hungry (while supplies last).

"We are excited once again to host the Mayor's Summer Night Lights event, offering the youth of Clarksville a chance to engage in positive activities during the summer break," said Mayor Joe Pitts. "This event serves as a testament to our dedication to the well-being and development of our young people, and we hope it will provide them with memorable experiences, new skills, and lifelong friendships."
