CLARKSVILLE,TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Summertime weather brings summertime fun! Here are some of the best activities to have you smiling outside.

Downtown @ Sundown: Downtown Commons will be hosting a concert this Friday featuring ACE Party Band. Bring chairs and blankets, however, pets, coolers, smoking/vaping or outside alcohol are not allowed. Food and beverage trucks will be on site. Cost for the event is free, will run from 7 until 9 p.m. Downtown Commons is at 215 Legion St.

Cooling at the Cave: Join Dunbar Cave State Park for a concert in the cave mouth featuring Red River Breeze, with proceeds benefitting Friends of Dunbar Cave. The concert will be from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, June 3, with gates opening at 6:30 p.m. Pricing is $65 per car or walk-ins can pay $25. Find tickets at Eventbrite, and the park is located at 401 Old Dunbar Cave Road.

Jazz in June: The third annual Jazz in June fundraising event will feature Kat Anderson, the lead female singer for the B.B. King All Star Band at B.B. King’s Blues Club in Memphis. The event includes live music, food, drinks and dancing. The event will be at the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 3. A 21+ event with tickets costing $75 at customshousemuseum.org.

Summer Reading Touch-A-Truck event: The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library opens the 2023 Summer Reading Program with its Touch-A-Truck event, which will allow children and adults to explore a variety of vehicles, including fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment and a helicopter. The library will also be collecting pet supplies to benefit Montgomery County Animal Care and Control. Visit the library for this free event Saturday June 3 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Strawberry Row Live Moo6 Festival: Saturday June 6, Moo6 presents the Strawberry Row Live Music with Men On a Mission, Mandy Moon & Entice Band. Food trucks, vendors, inflatables will be available. Guests are encouraged to bring your lawn chairs. The event will be at 4663 St. paul Road in Woodlawn, from 3 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 at Eventbrite.

Sunday on Strawberry: Find organic produce, fresh sourdough bread, handmade jewelry, and crystals from local vendors Sunday, June 4. Shops on Strawberry Alley will be participating, as well, with exclusive Sunday on Strawberry merch and storewide sales and specials. The event is at Strawberry Alley, 108 North 2nd St, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Admission is free.
