CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The fast-food giant Whataburger announced last year that it plans to come to Clarksville, and while that first location is still under construction, plans for three more are already in the works.

In June 2022, Whataburger announced it was coming to town, with its first location on the old Shoney’s site on North Second Street. In September, it was revealed that three locations in all would be coming, but the locations weren’t yet available.

This week, Joel Upton, Clarksville’s senior building inspector, confirmed that a fourth location is planned, and he provided the addresses:

  • 791 N. Second St., the old Shoney’s location
  • 599 Fire Station Road, across MLK Parkway from Freddy’s
  • 1800 Fort Campbell Blvd., next to Taco John’s
  • 1602 Haynes Road, former IHOP location

Three of the locations have begun construction, and the Whataburger planned for Fort Cambell Boulevard will start construction soon, Upton said. All four locations should be open before the end of the year.
