CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Parks & Recreation kicked off the 2023 season of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights on Tuesday at the Kleeman Recreation Center and New Providence Pool.

Visitors to Kleeman Recreation Center on Monday enjoyed food and drinks, music from a DJ, vendors, sports, swimming and other activities. A number of city agencies were also on hand, including officers with the Clarksville Police Department, firefighters with Clarksville Fire Rescue, and others.

The Mayor’s Summer Night Lights is a series offering youth a purposeful and positive experience during the summer break from school. It will be held every Tuesday through Aug. 1 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at different sites with different themes for each event all around Clarksville.
