UPDATE (June 2) - Fort Campbell has released the identity of the Army soldier killed in a crash earlier this week.
Spc. Elijah N. Robertson was a Soldier in 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He was 23 years old.
"We are saddened by the tragic death of Spc. Elijah Robertson,” said 2nd Brigade commander Colonel Ed Matthaidess III.
"Elijah excelled in caring for fellow Strike Soldiers as a Medic while we were deployed to Europe and will be missed by all who knew him."

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - A Fort Campbell soldier has died from his injuries after a crash Monday night involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.
The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) reported that the motorcyclist in the crash was transported to Tennova Healthcare by Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
The soldier's name will not be released until his next of kin notifications are made.
The crash took place at Fort Campbell Boulevard at Durrett Drive. It involved a vehicle and a motorcycle.
The crash was reported around 10:30 p.m. Monday night. Deputies reported that the northbound lanes were closed due to the accident.
Fatal Accident Crash Investigators (FACT) responded to the scene of the accident and are working the incident.
