CEMC, Hospitality Realty and Clarksville Jewelers are excited to present this year’s expanded Robert Bellamy Memorial Golf Scramble to benefit Manna Café. The annual event will be held Friday, June 9, at Eastland Green Golf Course. Tee-off times are 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

“Due to the popularity of this scramble, we have expanded to include a morning and an afternoon flight,” explains Vicki York. “In partnership with BackSwing Golf Events, we have also added a new ‘Beat the Pro’ contest with players going head-to-head against a professional on a par three hole.”

This year players will be able to challenge professional golfer Avery George to a closest-to-the-pin contest and a chance to win an awesome prize. Avery George is a professional golfer who played on the Symetra (now known as Epson) Tour and LPGA Tour for four years. Avery was recently named Middle Tennessee State University’s assistant golf coach after her impressive run at professional golf.

Along with the choice of morning or afternoon sessions, registration includes the round of golf, a cart, a delicious lunch, and a chance at cash awards for the top teams. Door prizes and a 50/50 raffle are also on tap.

“Good-natured competition is always a part of this annual event, and the players really enjoy the day,” states Manna CEO Mrs. York. “The best part of the deal is that our sponsors and players have huge hearts when it comes to Manna and our community. We can’t do our work without them.”

In addition to title sponsors CEMC, Hospitality Realty, and Clarksville Jewelers, the Robert Bellamy Memorial Golf Scramble is sponsored by Altra Federal Credit Union, Clayton Johnson, Riverside Weight Loss and Waste Connections.
