CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Healthy and Holistic organization will host the second annual Jackie Louise Memorial Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, April 15, at 5:30 p.m. at the William O. Beach Civic Hall. The nonprofit focuses on various health topics in the city of Clarksville.

This scholarship started in 2016 in memory of Jackie Louise, who valued the importance of higher education and empowering all that she met, with a T-shirt fundraiser, with a goal to raise $250 for graduating seniors at Kenwood High. With the help of community donors, the organization opened scholarship eligibility to all CMCSS seniors in 2021. To date, 14 students have been awarded aid totaling over $8,200.

This year, the organization is awarding five students $750 each to go towards college expenses. CMCSS Director of Schools Roz Evans will be the keynote speaker.

All proceeds from the night will go towards the scholarship fund. Tickets are $20 these be purchased via Eventbrite or by email.
