Jimmy Winters, age 89, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at his residence.
Jimmy was born May 28, 1933, in Pleasant View, TN to the late Charlemagne Winters and Ora Lee Morris. Jimmy is also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth V. Jarrell Winters; brothers, Charles and Jack Winters.
Jimmy is survived by his sons, James Michael (Karen) Winters and Charles Richard (Cindy) Winters; daughter, Dawn (Mike) Mulloy; brother, Ray Winters; sister, Mary Sue Panovec, Sandra Kilgore, and Barbara Dale; special companion, Kimberley Moore; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Cross Officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Burial will be Monday, April 3, 2023, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Hopkinsville, KY at 11:00 a.m. with military honors.
Pallbearers will be: Shawn Butler, Bryan Partlow, Grayson Phillips, Chris Winters, Frank Kilgore, Michael Dale, Cooper Partlow and Bo Butler.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gathering Place at Walton’s Chapel, 2829 North Hinton, Clarksville, TN 37043.
