Cecilia Ann Carpenter, age 70, of Oak Grove, KY, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2023 at her residence. Cecilia was born on May 5, 1953 in Topeka, KS to Eugene Swartwood and Dolores Solis. Cecilia is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Swartwood; husband, William Carpenter; son, Andres Munoz.

CSM (Ret.) Norman Wayne Borden, age 84, of Clarksville, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Tennova. Norman was born on February 17, 1939, to the late Clyde and Edith Borden. Norman is also preceded in death by his grandchildren, Joseph Borden “J.B.” Pennington and Kimberly Ann Lynch and brother, Larry Borden.

Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim (In the name of Allah the most gracious, most merciful), a queen was born from the union of Jessie Lee Powell (father) and Lizzie B. Powell (Mother). Since her early childhood, Sehura El was an outspoken, free-spirited woman. At the age of 21, she married Abdul Malik Rasheed where they remained a union for 20 years. In the late 1980s, she started a successful self-employed business as a professional hairstylist. She later settled in Clarksville Tennessee where she became the Director of Ms. Aiesha Childcare and Little Stars Daycare. Over her life span, Sehura enjoyed gardening, candle making, baking, listening to music, shopping, crystal/jewelry collecting, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Bobbie was born on April 25, 1938, in Montgomery County, TN to Arthur and Vergie Smith. She passed away on May 29, 2023. Bobbie was a fancy stitcher at ACME Boot Company and a member of Clarksville International Church. She loved her church and her family.

Ann Hackett Suddeath, age 88, of Clarksville, TN, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at her residence. She was born on August 27, 1934, in Boston, Massachusetts the daughter of Joseph Hackett and Nada Vincent Hackett. She later moved to Florida. She graduated from Georgia Christian High School and from David Lipscomb University in 1957. That fall, she moved to New Jersey and taught school for 4 years. While there, she married Forest Suddeath, Jr. and had their first 2 children. They moved to Australia in 1963 where her husband preached and she served as a homemaker, supported him and had their 3rd child.

Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Oak Grove, Kentucky. Gene was born in Castleberry, Alabama July 20, 1933, to Myrtle Mae Calloway Davis and David Daniel Davis, and was preceded in death by both parents, his beloved wife of 46 years, Muriel England Davis; daughter, Alice Marie Davis-Trickey and siblings William (Alma) Davis, Louis Davis, Joel Levon (Laurel) Davis, Melvin (Patricia) Davis, Christine (Coy) Morris, Doris (Wiley) Carr, and Ruby Davis.
