CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There are currently multiple hazards in effect as thunderstorms sweep the area. The National Weather Service has issued both a Flood Advisory through 2 a.m. Saturday and a Wind Advisory through 7 a.m. Saturday.

Storms will start to move off into the early morning hours, but skies will look to remain mostly cloudy through the day Saturday. Sunshine and highs of around 70 are expected by Sunday, according to the NWS.

Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., then a slight chance of showers after 4 a.m. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds and heavy rain. Low around 56. Southwest wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers after 9 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. West southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then becoming mostly clear, with a low around 44. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east after midnight.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. East wind around 5 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Sunday night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southeast after midnight.
