CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There is fun for all ages happening in Clarksville this weekend, from a murder mystery play at the Roxy to a Cumberland Winds concert at First Baptist Church.

Murder Mystery Play: The Roxy Regional Theater at 100 Franklin Street in Clarksville will host a unique and interactive murder mystery play on Saturday, March 25. Tickets are $60 each and can be purchased at the Clarksville Ajax Turner 50+ Center, located at 953 Clark Street. The Social Hour begins at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and the Murder Mystery Audience Interaction. The play starts at 7:15 p.m. There will be a live auction after the play featuring a Nashville sports package, a handmade double glider, an Opryland/General Jackson package, trips and more.

Cumberland Winds Concert: First Baptist Church, 412 Commerce Street, will host a Cumberland Winds concert in their fellowship hall on Friday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will begin with an old favorite, “Poet and Peasant Overture,” by Franz Von Suppè. The varied presentation includes “Scherzo for X-Wings” from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” marches, pretty melodies, familiar tunes and music that everyone can enjoy. This is a free event.

Family Art Saturday: Textured Tree Painting: The customs house is welcoming the spring season with works of art using unconventional tools like Q-Tips and cotton balls to stamp a tree to life in time for the spring season. The center says the activity is open-minded, self-motivated and based on experimenting. This event will be at the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center on Saturday, March 25, with times from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Painting is free with membership, but if you’re not a member, you can pay the general admission fee. Pancake Breakfast: If you’re looking for something to do Sunday, you can head over to the Clarksville Ajax Turner 50+ Center for a pancake breakfast fundraiser. The breakfast will be held on March 26, and the cost is $5 for pancakes only and $7 for pancakes and meat. All proceeds will benefit the ceramics room program at the center, and everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member to attend.
