Cleveland Hatcher, Jr., passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023. He was born to Cleveland Hatcher, Sr., and Bessie Bell Hatcher, on August 10, 1948, in Clarksville, Tennessee. His parents, sister, Emma Bell Hatcher Wilcox, brothers, Lewis Thomas Hatcher and Emmitt Hatcher preceded him in death.

Visitation Saturday, March 25, 2023, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Celebration of Life 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Foston Funeral Home. Interment 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2023, Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was a faithful member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. Cleveland, Jr. was educated in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System where he attended the historic Burt High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army with tours of duty in Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. He attained the rank of Sergeant/E-5 and was honorably discharged.  After serving his country, he trained to become a truck driver and enjoyed driving for various companies for the next 27 years before retiring.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed talking on the phone with family and watching sports on television. He was a people person and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish precious memories with daughters: Linell D. Hatcher and Teresa Williams, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sons: Codye Hatcher and Derrick Hatcher, both of Antioch, TN; Irish Hatcher and Deborah Hatcher; grandchildren: Michael Lee, Jr., Taric, Islynn, Cali, Skylar, Aria Hatcher; great-grandchild, Haness Lee; brothers: Curtis Hatcher, Kokomo, IN;   devoted cousin who was more like a sister, Pearl Osborne Kelly, Clarksville, TN; nieces and nephews: Venetta, Emmitt, Jr., Marvin, Sr., Joyce, Felicia, Jeffery, Cynthia and a host cousins, family, friends and U.S. Military Group AS1.
