CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — The Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center will be hosting Mountain Stage with Kathy Mattea Aug. 27.

The globally broadcast radio show will be coming to Clarksburg as a result of a partnership with the Cultural Foundation of Harrison County and will have a focus on bluegrass and country music from noteworthy artists.

"We are absolutely thrilled to bring Mountain Stage to Harrison County, fulfilling a long-held goal for The Cultural Foundation," said Andy Walker, president of The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County. "Mountain Stage has become an institution, broadcasting live music from the Mountain State all across America and the world. The Foundation is honored to welcome the show to the historic Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center for the very first time."

The live recording will feature performances from Tony Trischka’s EarlJam, the Jason Carter Band, The Watson Twins, and more.
