WCA boys golf wins West Central Conference
The WCA boys and girls golf teams approached the end of their regular season last week. The team played in the final WCC conference meet in Montevideo May 13. The boys were able to secure the conference championship with a second place finish. Next, the team stayed on their home course at Tipsinah Mounds Golf Course for the Ashby/Brandon-Evansville meet where the boys set a new school record with a team score of 304 and the girls also won their team event. It was two more team wins for the boys and girls when they played in the Ottertail Central meet at Thumper Pond Golf Course on May 16.

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The Belle Plaine Tigers, Marshall Tigers, Albert Lea Tigers, and St. Peter Saints all won in their Section 2 softball brackets today. The Saints and Albert Lea Tigers will play in an elimination game Thursday at 5 p.m., winner to face the Marshall Tigers for a trip to the 2AAA winners bracket on Saturday at 10 a.m.
