Dozens of families got together at the Teaching Gardens in Claremore Sunday for a butterfly release.

Several groups helped organize the remembrance to honor babies lost through miscarriage, still birth and infant loss.

"Society keeps it hidden, don't talk about it a lot so I want people to know that there are people out there who want to support them," said Catha Ashepak, co-director Miscarriage & Infant Loss for Compassion Women's Center.

Families got to take home butter-friendly flower seeds to plant at home.

This is the third year the group has done a community butterfly release.
