Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue is implementing a high fire danger burn ban beginning Tuesday at 8 a.m.

The ban covers its entire jurisdiction, including parts of Washington, Clackamas, Yamhill, and Multnomah counties.

The ban prohibits backyard or open burning, agricultural burning and any other land clearing burning.

It says the ban will stay in place until weather patterns change and the heightened risk of fire has diminished.
