CINCINNATI — Cincinnati basketball has had a busy week on the recruiting trail highlighted by four-star big man Tyler McKinley committing on Thursday.

The latest offer train starts with 2026 small forward Caleb Holt out of Buckhorn (Alabama).

There are no 2026 rankings as of now, but his timeline suggests a high four-star or five-star status when those all drop. He was just named one of 11 members of the U16 USA basketball team competing in the FIBA Americas Championship this weekend. He was one of 18 finalists to make the team.

Holt holds six offers from schools like Alabama, Houston, and Auburn.

The 6-foot-5 talent played with a ton of energy thus far in the event shooting over 55% from the floor and hammering the glass at will.

Holt profiles as an athletic wing that can guard multiple positions and really impact the game defensively and in transition.

Next, we have an offer for 2025 forward Preston Copeland out of Raleigh Christian Academy (North Carolina).

Copeland is not ranked in 2025 major listings as of this writing.

The 6-foot-8, 190-pound talent holds seven offers from schools like Indiana, and Georgetown.
